Status: offline 		Those ships near Baker Island look like script raiding behaviour. Often those raids go between PH and SoPac Islands and back the way they came or looping northward before returning to their base. I would guess that Rabaul or Truk is the home base.

You are doing very well - only about 4000 more points to be gained over Japan's VP gains and you have 2:1.

At Soerabaja, your P-38s have not been intercepting the unescorted Betty raids at all. Perhaps an altitude adjustment is needed, another squadron to handle low level CAP, or check your fighter pilot fatigue?

On the other hand it is a dilemma for me, because keeping Batavia and Soerabaja supplied is costly in ships.

I think I start next game with AI as hard, AI Japan just is not good enough supply-wise, though I have played now quite a while with Hard setting in this campaign too. Definitely re-vitalized AI somewhat.

Status: offline 		Hi Sardaukar, just wanted to say thanks for your AAR as I really enjoy it, and some of the earlier ones as well.

I kinda always struggled with playing WITP-AE due to the sheer amount of time I had to use to make a turn (2-4 hours, checking every small setting every turn), but I got some inspiration from this AAR to start a scenario 1 with the updated AI files, two day turns and hard difficulty, and it proving possible to churn out turns much quicker than earlier, while still getting and playing a decent, enjoyable game. I think you wrote in some post you can make turns every 20-30 minutes if you don't micromanage every small thing every single turn. I find it satisfying having found a way to quickly scour through the map, set stuff in motion where possible and when needed, now I might get to 1943 in my AI game where I've never been before.

Btw do you know if these Andy Mac AI files are made to work on stacking limit maps as well? I notice (playing the Allies) the AI likes to sometimes attack with underwhelming land forces resulting large casualties, and I haven't seen it use fighter sweeps pretty much anywhere which causes it to lose pretty much bombers. Next game could be one of the Iron Man scenarios.
