World War two historical fiction book I read a few years ago. It was about a SS Spanish blue division armour officer and his eastern front activities. The other side followed a Russian tanker. It was a great historical fiction book that concluded with both fighting in Kursk. Does anyone have an idea what it was called? It was quite a friend and a buddy would love to read it. I lent it out and it went missing :)

Thanks, friends.

Hi ETF -

I would recommend "Joining Hitler's Crusade: European Nations and the invasion of the Soviet Union 1941"
David Stahel Edtior.
Kindle

Covers any European country that sent forces to fight Bolshevism in Russia. Two categories, those allied with Germany and those who sent volunteers (Blue Division Spain). Very informative and fascinating.
