Some footage about a 1938 Civl war reunion.

quote:

Louisville resident Ron Crimm, now in his 80s and retired from the Kentucky state legislature, where he served for 20 years, was just three-years-old when his father took him to the 1938 reunion to get a first-hand account of an historic generation that was quickly fading away.

Amazingly, there are people alive who shook hands with Civil war veterans.

I am not knowledgeable at all about this war, but youtube showed this to me for some reason. I know there are some folks here, who care a great deal about this.

I was present at the Battle of Marengo. I was a chicken vendor. Made a mint.
