I have no idea if anyone is maintaining some of the old CMANO scenarios, but just wanted to let you know that EMCON and the checkbox to allow emitters on station is bugged. If you set to allow only emitters on station then change the mission EMCON doctrine to active for that particular emitter, it does NOT radiate when on station. Verified this against the EW tutorial and the Russian Civil War Phase 1, both of which work as intended. It will, however radiate as long as that box isn't checked. I love that scenario and hope someone can fix it so you don't end up thinking you're doing something wrong while playing. Drove me nuts for 1/2 hour until I figured out it was the scenario and not something I was doing wrong.

It's a great scenario. We haven't heard from Feltan in a long time. I fixed up Havana Daydreamen when there was an issue so I suppose I can fix this as well.

Not sure I understand the issue:

Is it a game wide issue in which case it should go to the Tech Forum with a save file?

Is there something specific in the scenario?

Thanks

B

It's just that scenario. Other scenarios work as intended. See if you can set your jammer/AEW to emit only on station. It won't let you as nothing happens. They will emit if you uncheck that box. Not a biggie, but a pain to micromanage, especially a big scenario like that one.

Fiddled around a little but couldn't figure out what was up but then realized - this is peacetime, in congested waters - and just turned all the radars on as they would be.

I also changed up all the SH-60B/F to MH-60R/S, the last flight of a 'B' was in 2015 so this just fits. They're much more capable helos.

And finally I got all the ships pointed in the right direction and at speed, kinda bugs me when they're all sitting at '0' pointing north. Might actually make a difference in the gulf. Also adjusted the formations a bit so they made better sense, the ones in the Gulf are still Fixed stations but the others are Relative.

Hope that helps. I'm going to play threw now and once happy will update the community page.

Thanks Gunner! Did you ever figure out why we can't get it to only radiate on station? There are other scenarios that have the same issue, while others work exactly as intended. A bit odd.

Are you talking about a setting on the back end somewhere? If you are talking about the checkbox in the mission, that's what doesn't work...it won't turn on while on station unless you uncheck that box.

Unfortunately no but I am seeing the same behaviour. Worse though are the AI subs all hanging around on the surface which I have also reported to the Tech forum.
