Think the “Overextended” feature has an unintended consequence. I like that it can be used to establish a minimal supply requirement for land units, but it also seems to effect naval units. The highlighted cruiser unit is shown as in the “overextended” state even though it’s parked next to a port. The nearby ship units are also “overextended”.

I suspect the ship units are not being penalized but are just mislabeled. Can the TOAW team confirm whether the ship units are, or are not, feeling the effects of overextension? Need to have ship units show the actual supply condition.

I thought there was no sea supply and ships are only in supply if in (not adjacent) a port?

Did you set an "Overextended Supply Threshold" for this scenario? And, if so, what was it set to?

Then I suppose the deep water hexes do have location supply of zero (even though naval units are not supplied by location supply level). So, they are overextended. We'll need to address that down the road.

I used the Midway scenario as a test setting the threshold at 100. Same thing happened. Fortunately it's not a game stopper. Thanks for looking.
