Where do black squares appear? On the boards or on the counters?

Are you using traditional counters or the new silhouettes counters?

Can you attach a screenshot to see what happens to you?

its okay. i installed the latest version and will use the icons that come with HL module. i was using traditional LnL counters. some would turn black after every scenario update. i would then reinstall everything and all was good but i don't want to do that anymore.

anyways as always a super effort. this is really great module....although i hate to admit it, i'm still working my way through stalingrad.

i've played several of the omaha and just started GD Bialystok. all very good.

Thanks!!

Hi,

Is it correct that the unit "Partisan Captain Witold Pilecki" goes from a moral 7, to an 8 when shaken?

Yes, it's strange, may be, but it's not a errata.

To raise the Captains moral level (of all the armies) is to give a "plus" to the Company Leader (usually a Captain).

It's nothing vital but it's a way of giving these Company Leaders a special characteristic.

But all this is debatable, you know ...

Ok. It's because I'm making the new counters.

In the scenario "AE chef du pont" the unit "M2 60mm Mortar" cannot fire either direct or indirect fire. Why?

Hi CHINCHIN,

I have verified the scenario "AE chef du pont," especially the Team "M2 60mm Mortar," and I don't see anything strange. I have also verified the Excel file "Units" and I have not detected anything irregular.

Finally, I played 3 turns, until the USA reinforcements appear in the south, including the Team "M2 60mm Mortar," and I have been able to use it normally. I attached an image about it.

Also, I have remembered the excellent After Action Report "AAR: Heroes of Stalingrad (HaL Mod Chichin Counter Mod Chef Du Pont," published by friend bootlegger267, especially in Post # 19, where he says: "... Red 6 Black 4 ... we have friendlies coming up the road from the south. They're reporting heavy enemy presence at the west end of the bridge. Then came the crump crump crump of mortar fire ..." Well, it's a way of say the mortar works ....

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4691570

Be careful not to place the Mortar Team in a forest, for example, because then the mortars cannot fire. They need to do it from open ground.

Hi Asl3d!

The unit was in forest. Cleared up. I look like a beginner!

Thank you and I'm sorry.

Can someone please tell me how to "slow down" or stop the scenario panels from fading out so fast, so that one can at least "read" about the scenario being played?
I've just downloaded it for the first time and it's very frustrating to see all these scenario panels pop up and then, just as quickly , fade out before I can even read 2 sentences of one panel scenario description! I've tried the "esc" key, but that only starts the game! Any ideas?...

Hello RAUBKATER1,

This's a problem that I haven't managed to solve yet.

Software developers may have set a transition time for each slide that is directly in the source code.

Well, the solution that occurred to me, nothing ingenious, for those friends who like to have an introduction to the scenario, I have published all the introductions for each scenario in the Thread "Heroes and Leaders mod Documents"

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4415998

You will also find there a Tutorial on new units, new terrains, new rules, and some useful tips.

In any case, the new scenarios that I'm now publishing can be found in the Thread "Scenarios for Heroes and Leaders mod"

https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4374224

Finally, the criterion that I'm following is that, when I finish publishing a series of scenarios, there're currently two series that are published simultaneously, so I incorporate them into the Documents package.

By the way, as I usually say to new friends who participate in this forum, "welcome to the ruins of Stalingrad."

Hello RAUBKATER1,

You can stop the panels by pressing the windows key.

Thank you both very much, Julio and Miguel!
Miguel, it works with the windows key and , to continue the fade out, by clicking the mouse button. (This, for anyone suffering the same annoyance!)
Thanks Julio for the updated Docs and new Scenarios plus all the great work you're doing! _Sincerely, Arno
