Have a look at the first playthrough of Strategic Command WWI game using the Blue Max mod (kudos to IronX for the great job with the Mod).

It looks like the Germans in France are already about ready to get bogged down (I've jumped ahead to Part 2), and the Russian foray into East Prussia loks like a considerable distraction.

GoG user wish: PLease include this mod in the official mod list on next update for the vanilla game. Mod use in GoG isnt easy as it is in Steam.

Hi Wolf14455,

Thanks for your interest and for now mods are currently handled the exact same whether it is a Matrix, Steam or GoG purchase. Essentially the mods just need to be extracted to the following folder no matter where you purchase the game:

C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWI\Mods

IronX has also updated his mod so that it should be much easier to install. Link with instructions below (top post in the linked thread):
