Similar to the bug where the ESCORT follows the parent unit back to the base and refuses to land until it hits BINGO fuel, I just had an OECM aircraft (EA-6B, which was flying as an ESCORT, and it had its parent unit destroyed and then merely circled around the target area until it reached BINGO fuel.

Both situations are likely related as both have to do with ESCORTS still in the air AFTER their parent units have either landed or been destroyed.

EDIT 1: ESCORTS that have weapons and have expended them (Winchester) do land. ESCORTS such as OECM air craft do not since their mission could still weapon (jammers) is still functioning. ESCORTS with unexpended ordinance (not Winchester) orbit near the base until they hit BINGO, and then they land.
