Not long ago I used to think the sale here was ab it stingy. Now though it's bloody marvellous!

Best bargains regarding price for me World in Flames and War in the Pacific AE. Bringing them down to bloody cheap from the heights of to expensive!

I own most of the catalogue that I would want.

Might be the right time to invest in Order of Battle.

"Up to 90% off most of our catalog"

That has me a little worried. With the bulk of the catalog being old enough that we already own most of it. Im concerned. And by that I mean concerned for the longevity of this company.

Just right to buy gifts for someone newly introduced to war gaming or someone you might know who plays shooters but might like the easier games offered. Oh my grandsons would be a logical choice.

"Up to 90% off most of our catalog(ue)"

= one game is 90% off, the rest aren't.

I picked up World in Flames, OOB: Red Star and Desert War for just under $50. Great deal!

Isn't war in flames with no AI?

Good price on war in Pacific admiral edition and bombing the Reich will pick up

Yes it has no AI, but the computer handles all the rules (similar to DG CWIE2). For $20 its a steal.

I agree with Zovs. One plays boardgames solo anyway, but in this case no mess or setup time, and it is a great games/system.

Any shipping price is to whatever destination you entered as your address.

DPD is a new system that we added going live this week. Its a courier system that gives another option and sometimes is actually cheaper than standard mail, especially for larger packages. In fact Royal Mail wont take larger packages at all.

Feeling a little like Blond_Knight above, in this regard:

I paid $80 for the two SC3 titles that are less than one year old. Now you can get them both on Steam for $13 each.

This kills any motivation to buy SC3 WW1 - or any other titles for that matter - for full price on release. Except that I have a 50% coupon.

It is what it is. I paid full price for WitP-AE and now is a fraction because of this sale. It is what it is.

What it used to be was less than a year, maybe small discount? And WitP-AE is ancient and should be discounted.

For those with the discipline, there is now a big incentive to wait - two nice, SC3 patched up games (with mods) at almost 75% off by waiting several months.

As long as there are the old faithful (like me) who buy on release day, it should be okay I guess. But for Panzer Corps 2, I am waitin' for the bundle.

True, if you can wait prices go way down

I don't have access to their sales data, but I would think it makes a lot of sense to heavily discount the old titles. Better to get some sales of a high profit margin product (i.e. very low cost of sales) rather than have nobody make a purchase due to the price point.

Cheers,
CB

I will buy the game I really want and support the developer. Panzer Korps 2 and the SC WW1 automatic buy. I agree with some, so many games out there and it's still a better value than going to the movies.
