Well I've been given the chance to design a boardgame! It will be, most likely, a standalone expansion, set on the East Front, solo and tactical. Don't want to say which game exactly at the moment as nothing has even been announced etc. However I'm really excited about the project.

Fingers crossed I can do it and then do the game justice. Be exciting if it all works out and I get the chance to do future boardgames. To be honest if it turns out all good and I never do another game again I'll be happy, just to be able to do one game is an honour and privilege. When I was a teenager one of my ambitions was a career designing boardgames, Car Wars and Kingmaker where my inspirations. The thrill of people playing and enjoying something I helped create is the personal driving force on the whole, though this particular project is everything I love and enjoy with regards to wargames.

SO if this all goes to plan hopefully soonish I can give more details.

That's fantastic, I'm sure you'll do an excellent job.

However, since you're now on THAT side of the fence, let me be the first to ask, when will it be released?

Hi Wodin, When it comes to wargaming you have been around quite a while. I am sure all of that experience will be very useful and your game successful. I presume it will have 2 story buildings............

Yes, above all else, try and have fun and you'll do just fine. Remember, if you think it's fun, then others will. But if you think it is tedious others will. Keep that in mind and you'll be OK. Good luck!

That's awesome! I made a small contribution to help with NWS's RTW and RTW2, did a little art for them and the creator was very generous to mention me in the credits of the games. It really is a great feeling. I didn't charge anything for my relatively small efforts, however, if I never accomplish anything else in my life, I'll still feel good about that.

BTW, did I say that Rule the Wave is an incredibly awesome game! I highly recommend it to wargamers!

Cool stuff dude! Well done! Please keep us posted-I'm sure many of us will buy it even if we never play it. At least that's most of our track record!

Huge thanks for all support! Suddenly it seems exciting things coming my way! I've also been asked if I want to design a small PC game, leading on to bigger more complex designs! So now I need to decide what to do! PC game design is a dream come true just needed to find the coding et c talent. Seems I have!

Scary to be honest.

I already have an idea regarding digital game, however what type of game would you like to play, has to be a game suited to both mobiles and PC and be relatively simple but lots gameplay? We are probably talking a sale price of me 9.99 here(first game design so keep it simple to start with, a little light number)

Anyone like the idea of a WW2 text adventure or interactive fiction?
