Philippe Thibaut is heavily involved with this project.

As he is the game designer of my favorite Grand Strategic game of all time (AGEOD Pride of Nations) - this one equals an instabuy ....

I played the demo. Yes, it is nicely done. And the design intent to make a fast-playing two-player game of the War of the Roses appears to meet the mark. For those who want that.

I miss the old 7-player AH Kingmaker game with all of its random events, Parliament, and other surprises. I would love to see a remake of the DOS PC version, as nicely done as Richard III with an update to current Windows O/S and graphics, etc. Ditto for AH Third Reich PC. Are there no developers interested in remaking the old classics?

Yes, I have noticed the game as well and it is on my wishlist. I was worried about the block gaming thing? That is why I have not pulled the trigger, honestly, because I am very interested in this time frame.
