So if I downgraded an AC, do all the frames go back into the pool?

ie..zero to claude. If my memory serves me correctly, it may take a few days? (then the other part says I lost some)

Fly the good ones to a base not connected to the initial base, have the segment with the damaged planes disband into another air unit with the same airframe and then they will be repaired there and not lost.

I took a whole group of zeros and downgraded them to Claude’s
I assumed they will all go into the pool and show up in a day or
2. Needed them for my carriers and really didn’t that group too
Badly at the moment. On tracker it’s showing I lost more zeros then
What’s being reported. If that’s due to the downgrading then I lost around
A third.

No, it will take several days for all A/C to return to the pools. You see a line in your ops report, 4(17) A6M2, or some such. Four of 17 returned to pool, rest will follow in increments over the next few days.

What you are doing above is considered 'an upgrade', even though you're going to a lesser model.

This is different from withdrawing/disbanding a unit where all planes will immediately go to the pool if so selected.
