As the title suggests, and I'm feeling out of my depth at the moment with the new site look being different to what I recall, I have TOAW IV, didn't go the deluxe route, just got the download, so my question, and please answer in idiot friendly terms please :)

What am I needing to do, to get a manual shipped long after the fact?
I'm just deciding if your item is a better choice to my just going to my usual printer and having them do it.
The current manual is nice, pleasing colours etc, and 89 pages. No cost challenge really.

Is it available in hardcover? What's the cost if it is.
If it is only in softcover form, again, what is the cost...
to me including shipping and taxes to Canada in both cases?

Thanks for any help guys.

I've asked this before, and someone provided a link to where it was available for purchase (which I've since lost)...

But I don't know why it is so hard to find stuff like this on the website, I've never been able to find this manual (or any other) just by using the store menus or search.

See if this link helps:

https://www.matrixgames.com/game/the-operational-art-of-war-iv

Then click on buying and you might have to switch to Canadian dollars to get 28 Canadian dollars but it is 20 US Dollars.

The Operational Art of War IV
☐ Upgrade to Boxed + digital edition CA$ 28.00

But like my WITW hardbound manual I wonder if they're even correct anymore, or would just confuse me with old info?

Much of the information is out dated or just plain incorrect. Most of the manual is simply cut and past from pre TOAWIII days. The vast majority of the new things in TOAWIV are in the What's New document. You could get the manual but from what I understand 'some people' are working to make a new more relevant manual.

Someone also was working on an updated WITP-AE manual at one point but did not get any support nor permission for putting it out for people.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I guess I'm going to just have the local printer craft me a print out.

Dear Mrs Wargamer,

Please wait on that.

A new updated and more complete version will be available. It's WIP right now.

Its a fan thing with some support...

The Operational Art of War IV

Upgrading is $20 extra, over the price of the digital game only, for a total of $59... There used to be a way to buy only the manual.

But as Lobster says, much of the manual was out of date even when the game came out. And the manual is not especially well-organized and has no index, so at least for now I intend to stick with the pdf version.
