Hi all. So its late Feb. 1942, and i'm looking for some ideas as what to be doing as the Allies. As for what i'm doing. I'm beefing up India in the Chittagong area. Still holding Rangoon, but its cut off from india now. Still hold Port Moresby, but the rest of the area has been taken. I'm strengthening New Caledonia. Made a few forward supply bases in the west around, Palmyra, Christmas Island, and Baker Island.
Any ideas are very much appreciated.
Does not look like AI with cut off Rangoon and PM :)
Anyway, in PBEM piling up in Chittagong in Feb'42 asks for trouble via Calcutta landing and eventual elimination of all your hapless green Burma army. I've seen it many times in AARs. Build up interior India airfields, import planes and engineers from US, study Sigint to catch signs of invasions, and prepare for the push in like early 43. Elsewhere more or less the same, reinforcing key atolls in the Pacific, waiting for the assets to accumulate and airfields to build in Australia, training pilots.
In the first half of 42 the only fun PBEM Allies can have is trying to catch Japan's overextended invasions with surface ships and occasional CVs. With lurking fear of KB
