It was just a typo, When I type on this laptop I never get anything right the first time.
I watched the video but my cynical self thought the fellows passion was more about making money than making games.

Microprose, a mythical company in my book. Mythical games too.

Interesting statistics too on the video.

It was an invest pitch.

Though chart showing tablet and smartphone growth aswell as new game announcements doesn't have any relevance to Microprose games.

MicroProse and its games were mythical? What is your definition of mythical?

This one:

"3. usually mythic : having qualities suitable to myth : legendary"

I don't think I need to say you need to agree eh

I recall reading from a video game magazine (Finnish one in Finnish language, much different from what you expect from English language ones) that guy was already at it back in the day: he spoke publishers/investors/whatever over their heads while at the same time giving a live demonstration of the game.

I would have used the word "legendary" instead of "mythical" to describe MicroProse. I played many of their games back in the day and I thought most of them were awesome--either very good, very original, or both.

Indeed. Take Task Force 1942. The use of that "primitive" 3D technology was impressive And we are talking about 1992. It's like the French company Infogrames' [first] Alone in The Dark. 1992 too. These people were genuine pioneers. The guy of the video may need the money (bills or whatever) but he delivered great products.
