Hi all,

Just purchased Command and am looking at pulling a few of my old Harpoon 2 scenarios in.

One of these is based on the ongoing pillaging of fishing resources around NZ by east asian countries and the difficulty that the NZ Navy & Airforce have in policing this.

The line work I would love to be able to add is the 200 NM Exclusive Economic Zone which is available as a KML file?

I agree with you. We have the same pillaging problem by Chinese and Korean fishing fleets in Argentina.
I would add that a line drawing tool could be a good addition. Having to seed multiple points on the map is cumbersome. It´s also useful for interception and route planning before giving the units actual course and waypoint orders with F3.

Thank you.

You could do it using a map view overlay and an image editing program. I'm not quite sure how to translate the KML into an image, but I'm sure someone can pull it off.

Another option is to turn the coordinates into Lua code to create reference points.

If you have the coordinates in excel, in rows of lat long, what you could do is set up a sheet much like:

And copy paste the resulting lua into Command.

One of the options available for download is CSV, so could probably get it in that way through LUA. I haven't played a lot with image overlays but I think that something that could be used in exclusion zones as well, so LUA could be a go.

Thanks
