I have always thought there was a bug in these scripts.
There are 7 scripts in 'supply.txt' that deal with the 'Communist Partisan Activity In China'.

When the game is played, the pop-up message(s) does says 'Communist Partisan Activity In China',
but there is no Graphic explosion and sound affects.

I looked at the scripts, particularly the locations in each,
and found that they all point to non-Resource locations.
Although two point to hexes that do have a rail line.

The way I read the script, it is suppose to reduce the supply in the hex by 1 to 3 points, [1:3].

Can you please verify the locations.

Thank you
Steven

Hi Steven

I'm just looking at this now, and the #DESTINATION_RESOURCE= do all point to urban resources, e.g. the first points to hex 186,57 which is the city of Sian.

You're right about the supply damage it can potentially do.

Bill

Thank You for the Research,

I will reload the version to see if that corrects my problem.

Steven.

I have reload my files and they are now correct.
I looked back in my notes and found that My co-ordinates were off by 6 in each case.
Script Example: Sian is now showing at 186,57, where my notes I recorded was 180,57.

Go Figure, must have had an older script file loaded or something.

All is okay now.

Steven

FYI: Definitely see that the Partisans are doing damage to Resource location now.

But...

Was still puzzled as to why no sound effects or explosions, just a pop-up message with indication as to where.

btw: Those scripts do not have a Sound affect associated with them,
I don't know how the explosion graphic is associated with them either.

You guys are the best....

Steven

Hi Steven

It's because the script hasn't got a sound or image file associated with it, otherwise you'd see and hear the explosion.

Glad you've seen the damage now, although if you're playing as Axis you might not be so glad.
