I always use Classic PBEM for that reason. The amount of different choices and options is one of the things I like about FP. Hopefully the format stays the same for Southern Storm.

I have always preferred a normal exchange of game files for PBEM rather than a proprietary one.

ctcharger, I will pass this on to Rob. You are the second person with this bug. Was it working okay before? Is this the first game using 14? Did you add Germany Reforged recently?

Sorry for the problem. Hopefully we can figure this out.

It was working before as I was in a middle of a game and just finished 2 others. I use Steam and so I think I have been up to date for quite some time now with all of the DLCs.

I have this error as well.
I'm about 7 turns into a PBEM++ when this occurred. I tried to reinstall the game but with no success.
Any advice?

EDIT: I DID TRY TO REINSTALL THE GAME BUT NO JOY.

Nathangun, what scenario are you playing? What is your OS and game version? Are you playing with the Matrix or Steam version? What is your opponent playing on game wise (Matrix or Steam. Thanks. We will see what we can figure out.

Hi Nathangun. I'm one of the developers.

That specific error is a pretty good sign that a data object somewhere has become corrupted. Unfortunately it doesn't tell us which one. WHat I would like to do is compile a special build of the game for you that turns on some highly advanced error checking. We use it internally for our playtesters. With that in hand, anytime there is a crash bug it will spit out a detailed error log that should take me straight to the problem.

Watch for your private email for a link for a new version of fprs.exe. I should have it up later today for you.

Thanks for your patience!
