At my place it runs only at Win XP and 7 not Win 10.
I ensured I have all admin rights. And I tried a lot of Windows compatility entries.

Only the autostart of DWU starts, not the game itself. The task end automatically 1s after it starts without an error message.

Therefore I play it on my “old” PC.

not something iv'e tested tbh, but if you follow any of my install guides, i'm sure 99% of the time that almost anything will work, but if you run into anything once bought, i'll grab and install and sort it for you anyway, so not an issue, steam is one route, but then you don't get the site version, buy here and like it, then you can have both[:D]
