So I have a North Pacific Scenario I have worked on for weeks. I start the scenario in editor and go through an hour or so of the scenario (ships and planes move). I quit abruptly and load the scenario again. It's seems the progress of the scenario is saved in the editor as an "auto-save" and I cannot "go back" to the beginning of the scenario in the editor before things moved. In short-THIS BLOWS! Is there no rewind feature?

Is it possible you pressed Ctrl+S at some point?

I do quite a lot of scenario development and while I've accidentally saved over my files a few times, I've never seen auto-save save anywhere except the AutoSave.scen files.

Yes ctrl+S is possible. Now I am RTB all aircraft, deleting all the dropped buoys and contacts. Making all missions inactive and hopefully resetting the clock. Lesson learned.

I feel your pain!

My workflow for testing scenarios out is to load them as a .scen file in the editor, then immediately (before starting time) save the file as filename_test1.scen before continuing; after a while it's second nature. The first few mistakes hurt on that learning curve sure do sting though...

I've learned this lesson as well... and asked the same exact question.

I always have 2 scens - one to play and one master - I never start time on the master one, I try to save both of them all the time to keep them current.
