If you are ever in Texas be sure to check out these Pacific War Gems!

National Museum of the Pacific War: Fredericksburg, TX. The hometown for Admiral Nimitz. The museum is massive and takes at least a day to enjoy. They even have one of the midget subs captured at Pearl Harbor and a Hatch Door to the USS Arizona.
USS Texas (Battleship): San Jacinto State Park. The Texas was at Iwo Jima and Okinawa
USS Cavalla. Galveston, TX: Gato class sub. She sank the Japanese Aircraft Carrier Shokoku
USS Lexington. Corpus Christi, TX: Essex Class Aircraft Carrier 1943
Lonestar Flight Museum. Houston, TX: Vintage US Navy and Army Air Corps Aircraft from the era

I've been on the Texas. The US did dreadnoughts correctly from the beginning with the simple center line arrangement.

They don't make it too easy to see all that stuff-- it's spread all over the state!

If I were from Australia I'd say "You call that puny little thing a state?"

Nah. Gulf coast plus a side tour through San Antonio up to Fredericksburg. Doable in 3-4 days no problem.

I vouch for the Museum of the Pacific War. Been there three times and I haven't seen everything to my satisfaction yet. The Lexington II was nicely put together too-budget 2-3 hours on the models alone! I'll see the Texas sometime soon.

Is there a list of all Navy or Military museums in USA, or all over world? Any list?

You should know that they have big deer in Texas. Everything's big in Texas.
