Does anyone play this anymore? Just curious if there is AAR, Mods, etc on that game. I been messing with it right now, slightly classic or simply than AE, but there are few things I like that aren't in AE.

The graphic map isn't bad at all. But I noticed a lot of things in that game isn't correct and I been modding for some time. Trying to get it setup soon so I can mess with it, the War in the Pacific Grand Campaign.

Edited...
Also didn't know there a forum for this game, I will post details on this later on once I get this going.

Hmm haven't seen any of those or German Navy, if you have the facts that actually took place in that areas with OOBs. I could add them, otherwise I leave it as it is.

There was a German merchant raider that got into the Pacific with the help of the Russians early in the war.

They also got a few U-boats in there later on. Based out of Phuket(?sp) IIRC.

There were two German Commerce Raiders that made it to Japan: KMS Michel and KMS Thor.

KMS Michel actually sailed on her 2nd war patrol from Yokohama in 1943. At the end of that patrol it was sunk near Japan by USS Tarpon. KMS Thor was destroyed by a marine accident in Yokohama in November 1942 after putting in there in October of that year (apparently it was quite the explosion/fire since 4 ships were destroyed).

The port of Penang was the homeport for the German Uboats that operated in the Pacific/Indian Oceans. On the AE map it is called Georgetown in Malaya.

Rising Sun look forward to seeing your mod.

Oalitinyay: My mod has Italian and German ships, troops, and aircraft. I am testing it right now in a PBEM. Ihave an AAR as does my opponent (Durnedwolf).

OK, do they include the one that sunk an Australian cruiser? If not there were three.

Kormoran scuttled and Sydney sunk Nov 1941, a few weeks before kick off so neither is in game.
An ahistorical “what if” mod could put them both in the Indian Ocean

While that might be somewhat possible to portray the historically documented encounter between these two ships what would you suggest for the encounter between the poorly lead Japanese invasion force and the Wake Island defenders on December 11, 1941. It seems nearly invariable that the IJN will suffer no loss of either warships or transports (unless the USN intervenes). So far I have not encountered IJN CD defenses in a PBEM but it seems that Allied CD def3nders nearly never engage (effectively) invading IJN forces or bombardment forces (even though the Wake Island USMC defenders hold the singular instance during WW2 of causing the invader to "up anchor and sail away".

If you guys provide me those details, ship names, class, etc and their timeline, it would help a lot and yes I could put that in there.

Right now trying to balance out the pilot experiences on both sides, resources and heavy industries layouts. Some of these are way off or doesn't feel right compare to AE.

Just wish I could change pilot experience replacement by year, it is a little off and believe that part is hardcoded.

The tricky parts I had to use the find options when there is more than one with that name almost the same, sadly didn't have the next button lol. So had to browse through the whole data, that will take awhile to check them.

Good news, that I manage to change the map and look better now. Also trying to find the proper base names as well. Moved few bases in proper locations too.

Thanks oaltinyay,

I think I am gonna put that and the german raiders and subs on hold for now. I need to make sure this whole campaign is stable without any errors.

The game is coming around smooth now, hopefully I have it done sometime end of this month. There are so much details I have to go over and not only that I been working on the map, plane sprites and ships as well. These will be carry over from AE, making it more attractive. Also making it setup as Allies taste and Japanese taste, music themes and loading screens.
