I encountered this with 2.8.9 after a long round of naval air combat.

Fortunately I kept a detailed battle log report and was able to "recreate" this round in 2.7.0.

I haven't tried with this attached game turn to recreate the bug. I, first wanted to ensure that I past this in my game by playing this round in 2.7.0. I'll give it a go with 2.8.9 and see if the bug I encountered is repeatable. My instinct tells me that it is but will let you know either way. It does take some time to work through the results again.

I got a (related) fatal bug (crash) in the air to air by aborting both sides after the initial round of air to air. I did email the crash report and game turn (same game turn as attached).
