Hi

Not sure if there is a fix for this.

I switched to showing units invisible to take a screenshot and then reverted back to visible units...

Weirdly, since then the playback of the turn by Larry my MP opponent always has invisible units...making the playback less than optimum :-)

Any ideas how to revert back to visible units permanently. By the way, after the playback finishes I still have to switch units back on so its not just a playback issue.

Many thanks

Ian

Maybe try turning your units visible and then close TOAW so that the
parameter for the units visible or invisible will be visible so that
when TOAW next starts up the switch will be set for visible.

When you go online and get the playback screen it's been reading that
switch as invisible because of the setting of the switch in the *.INI
file.

All that is as clear as mud I'm pretty sure. Lemme see if I can say
it in english: There's an *.INI file that get's read when TOAW starts
up. It, the *.INI file, gets written when TOAW quits. So the
settings you have when you quit is what you'll get when you next
start.

I got it sorted by closing the game down (as you suggest Larry) and then starting a totally new single player game for a turn with units visible which I then saved as though I would be playing later .

This MP turn in my game the playback was visible (though given the destruction Larry is unleashing on the trapped HG Division it maybe was better invisible )

Thanks Larry for the suggestion.

The "cloaked" playbacks are back. I started a thread about "cloaked" moves a while back, and got some good feedback about it. Was this a PBEM game? I believe its an exploit, just go to unit invisibility, resolve your last turn and send your PBEM turn. Anyone have any additional feedback? I experimented with a "hot seat" turn, but unable to duplicate. Its a bug only for PBEM. Hopefully, it will be fixed with a patch.
