Interesting review.

I am however very surprised to see Muhammad on his list since he didn't live during the Ancient World period.

I would have been more interested if some of the generals suggested by the reviewer had been included instead.

Indeed.

And the link you provided only strengthens my argument, IMHO. Most historians put the end of ancient history at the fall of the Western Roman Empire. Seems few put it as late as the rise of Islam and those use the rise of Islam as the end date. Hence the battles Muhammad fought falls outside the period of the ancient world.

That some claim that the world is flat does not make it so.

And another wiki page seems to agree with my point of view.
