The directory you are supposed to put both files in is the none that has the ATGE.ico file in it, or the autorun.exe, or a number of other things. It is the folder you installed ATG in.

If you have a shortcut to ATG then right click and select "Open file location".

I rename the AdvancedTacticsGold.exe there to save it, and then copy the new one and irrKlang.net4.dll there.

I'll need a confirm or two of it running well and then after that I will push this one as the next official new version. First to Matrix, then to Steam.

This is with GD1938V3.
Bug report for patch v2.28.
The card that changes from map to text does not work. It stays with the map..so cannot confirm that the text problem was fixed (not being able to see the top portion of the text). Although it stays with the map you cannot pick an area to influence (diplomatic card, discord card, or agents card).

This last part is by design. With the "centering" on the first available hex, it was supposed to work smoothly. Of course you can always choose the "use map" mode.

Thanks Vic. That was a pleasant surprise Unfortunately, it will have to wait for tomorrow to test drive. An early busy day today.

I was wondering, although for now won't be able to expand on this idea, if it would be possible to get some information passed into the event that is called after each move or activity. Namely event #45 in NewDawn (set by rulevar 843.

In particular, I was thinking the "moved to" hex that triggers the event. I was thinking that this was a away to maybe add some of the features of Lancer's "Enhanced AI Mod" dynamically. Namely, a means to intercept naval forces with air or other naval forces. Ideally, it would be nice to have an intercept feature in the engine, like what is there for air forces, but this could be a stopgap that wouldn't require a house rule to stop for a turn. Obviously, it has to be thought out carefully so as to not be a CPU burden between moves. Just a thought.

Awesome! Thank you for the continued support, Vic! I've been batting around an idea for a random game mod. Haven't worked on it much yet but maybe this new update will spur me on some more.

Nope. Also these patches cannot be applied to the steam version, until they actually come as the steam download. Consider them beta patches, and that players who bought the non-steam version as guinea pigs.
