How many Slitherine/Matrix games (if any) are programmed using this seemingly versatile language (Python)? And for that matter, the computer gaming industry itself?

with C and C++ being quicker, can't see that many mainstream programmers still using it either myself

So there are not any Slitherine/Matrix games programmed with it that you are aware of?

I've always thought of it as more of a scripting tool for unix/linux, than something you would write a game in.

I've programmed with Python for a long time, and if you do a search for source code, ebooks, paper books, tutorial sites, games, or about any kind of support, Python tops about all languages. The FREE resources are unlimited.

By watching lots of public television in the 1970s-1980s, I've been programmed in Python as well.
