Some may know that I am working on a 3 part mod for Star Trek......

Thought I might let you know I have also secretly being working on 2 other mods well known to Sci-fi lovers.

This mod is expected to be released Early 2017.

At this stage I am just going to call this mod "Doctor Who" and release the official name in a few months time.

This may very well be the first of the mods I am working on that will be released...... I am attempting to release 2 of the 4 mods by June 2017 and these will be version 1.0 with updates added after.

Doctor Who was the first science fiction tv series I can remember watching, followed by Star Trek, Lost in Space and then of course Star Wars as a motion picture in 77.

I have a cool idea of how the Doctor Who mod will work in Distant Worlds and once I have the basics in play the actual development time will be very quick..... characters and monsters already done.

The first 50 races added to the mod.

As is the case with my upcoming Star Trek mod there will be 75 races playable in the mod.

The images are not necessarily the final ones for the mod and may be changed after I have added all 75 races.

469 systems from Doctor Who have so far been added to the mod. I still have several hundred more to be added over the next week and then a quick check to make sure I have not missed any.

Finished up the remaining number of races so now i have 75 playable races in this mod.


The mod will have :

- All 12 Doctors
- All 4 Masters Plus Missy
- Every Companion
- Captain Jack Harkness
- Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart
- Kate Lethbridge-Stewart

War has broken out and Gallifrey is under attack by not only the Daleks and the Cybermen but also other races who would benefit from the demise of the Time Lords.

The 12 Doctors with their companions have been called in to help defend Gallifrey.

The companions for the classic Doctor Who series have been added......
The earlier black and white pictures will be colored before the mod is released.

Grace Holliday was the companion for the 8th Doctor and there were many other companions in the audio book series and these may be added to the mod as well.
While Doctor Who was off TV I followed the audio book series which pretty much filled the gap.

The mod will have every Doctor, every Master and every companion seen or heard in the last 54 years.... including the latest Companion to be seen in April.

Below are the Companions from the Classic Doctor Who era.

66 companions added to the mod who will help the 12 Doctors defend Earth from invasion by Daleks, Cybermen and other villains.

You may not have heard of many of these companions unless you have followed the Big Finish audiobooks.

Working on details for the Third Doctor segment of the mod.

As you can see from the picture below which looks at just one episode, I am adding many characters into the mod as I watch each episode.
There are 680 half hour episodes just for the first seven doctors.

Plans for this mod are to have Doctors and Companions from all 12 Doctors working together to save Earth in the same way as seen in the episodes Two Doctors and Three Doctors.

So what you could see for example is the Peter Capaldi 12th version of the Doctor working with the Jon Pertwee 3rd version of the Doctor.

How would the 3rd Doctor handle the Weeping Angels?
How would the 12th Doctor defeat Sutekh, Omega or the Black Guardian?

If all works out this mod will be a little different from other mods..........

I am currently testing this to check for issues but it is intended that the first Dr Who mod will not be based in space but will occur on the Dalek planet Skaro.

It was sad to see that Missy may have an uncertain future on tv , though one scene does leave an option for her to return later.

Missy was added to this mod back in March and her character will be the evil Missy who killed Osgood back in 2014.

This mod is expected to be released in early December.

Preview of work on more characters that will be in the Doctor Who mod.
Source picture shown at top of image with modified version below.

Even though the images of characters from the first 7 doctors years were not hi definition I am able to pick up hidden details from the original pictures and create a high definition result from the original costumes.

The picture below shows an example of some minor details not seen in the original picture from the 70s.
The clouds in the background were added via photoshop.

The new look aliens from Ambassadors of Death..............

This replaces the aliens that were seen on the spaceship in a scene that appeared to be the character standing behind a window blind.
My mod will have modified looks for some of the classic monsters whose outfits need a serious makeover.

This mod will finally get a release by end of August.
Since the last post December 2017 I have made significant changes to the way I was going to do this mod.

I have also solved how I am going to have all 14 Doctors appearing in the mod..... yes 14...... the War Doctor played by John Hurt is also included.
The Master appears also in all 6 of his male incarnations as well as the 7th appearance as Missy.
The Tardis used by each Master and Missy have a working chameleon circuit so the question was how to have their Tardis changing in the mod. Resolved.

And I also solved the biggest question of all...... how do I have 14 Doctors each with their own Tardis in a mod where space ships fire laser beams at each other.

Yes.... be assured the Tardis will not be firing at anyone in this mod.

Aliens in this mod have been limited to the fan favorites.
I have resolved how to have aliens in various spaceships each when at no stage do we see them in a spaceship on TV.


This mod is set at a time just prior to the Time War where all 14 Doctors unite to save Gallifrey from destruction.
