The displacement routine has a tendency to go off the rails. I understand the concept and need for the mechanism but units tend to get a bit illogical when the displace.

For example I have had units in cover displace toward the enemy into an open hex vice away from the enemy into a covered hex. I also feel units in improved positions in fortified posture displace far too easily. I have seen units just take artillery fire without loss move out of the fortification into a partial cover hex. I understand artillery and HQ units moving at the first sign of trouble but not combat units

lots of dicussion concerning the AI response and forced displacements.

No problem. We know that there are some items that get repeated. Those are the ones we are focusing on for improvement in Southern Storm.
