Thanks, the quality of the photos is great. Don't know exactly what they are pics of. Looks like a couple of Italian tri-motor wrecks in there.

Most of the animals in the background in this pic appear (to me) to be mules, which is a good choice for cavalry in that era. The pic with the Arabs are clearly horses.
