Is game speed much faster using a CPU with more than 4 cores e.g. using 6 cores (12 threads) or 8 cores (16 threads) or a hyper-threading technology processor?

I don't know how many cores Command can utilize at max, all I can say is that it uses all of my 8 cores (Xeon 3565, 3.2Ghz, 4 real, 4 HT), but the CPU usage isn't high even in very large and very slow scenarios, and when I switch off the HT cores I don't notice much of a speed difference.

The sim uses one main thread and hands off heavier tasks to helper threads on other cores. Therefore, fewer but faster cores usually gives the best result.
