First Fire Segment, first shot:

[RU] SW: MEDIUM MG ID#: 8 is Broken.

Off to a fine start!

.. and ended in a Draw. 22 Rus to 14 Ger. I got the entire south stone building, but at a large cost. Lost half the squads and my leader. The second best leader with the MMG never really recovered and ended up with a broken MMG and a broken Conscript half squad by the end. Northern group gained two hexes of the Northeast building, at great sacrifice. Only a single 1st line squad was left of all my northern forces and he was pinned. :)

Played it, had a lot of fun!

I mobbed a German HS in the Center building with 2 full squads. Next thing I know, the bastards have killed all my guys and spawned a leader. Snake eyes.

Russian: AI German: Human Player
Difficulty: Very Hard
Fog of War: Enabled
Path Quality: High

Nice scenario!
I built this one during beta testing along with maybe another 15 scenarios, but they were never 100% finished or ready for prime time.

Major German Victory 29 to 21 with difficulty at very high, FOW on and pathing High. I'll try the Soviets later tonight. Thanks for the scenario. I gave ground in the south and hammered the North and played defensive in the mid till it was cleared.

Played through. Such a slugfest might not be as attractive tactically but was alot of fun. Softening up the Germs then assault moving and Close Combat ensues! Such a cool game that scratches that ASL tactical itch.

Played it as German, result was a Draw with the Russians gaining 3 quarters of the southern building. Lost almost all my squads. Reminded me of playing the boardgame decades ago - with almost the same result, I sucked back then at tactical games and I still do

i had a similar result. both then and now too. in fact if the AI had launched a counterattack, he would have found the top VHs open too...

Played Russians on all difficulties but easy, major victories in all. Now to try as Germans. I was surprised by all the Final Protective Fire moral breaks.

Played as Germans and they kept breaking my guys in the southern and central buildings, both of which they ended up taking as a result. Brings back Squad Leader memories, thanks
