Does LOS tool only show visible units (i.e. Those units visible to your selected unit)? Does it also display visible hexes (similar to Tiller games where visible hexes are shaded)? The video tutorial looked like it only displayed / highlighted visible units.

LOS processing is very heavy in this game because LOS function checks for Line of Sight down to a pixel level...so it is used for enemy units only...not for visible hexes

Peter, you mentioned the pixel level before and I must say I don't understand this in a 2D hex-based game. Is LOS from hex enter dot to hex center dot?

Yes but I check if a Builing Sprite within a hex touches the LOS line...down to a pixel level.
