I have been playing as Russia against the German AI but have been abandoning the games between T5 and T15 when I realise the germans will not reach their historical front line in 1941. In short they move forward about two or three hexes a turn. I would like to think it is my superior defensive game but then i realised that nearly all the AXIS units were low on fuel, ie indicator = red but they were all well supplied. So I assume it is not a shortage of trucks.

Is this how the game works now and if so is there a parameter I can change to fix this.

Help please.

Playing on normal difficulty you should be able to bag a dozen panzer divisions and knock Romania out out of the war before blizzard hits. Attacking AI really doesn't cut the mustard. Haven't tried different difficulty levels. Play people, it's better!

What's the game version you are using ?
Please upload a save to a filehoster of your choice and link to it - may need some investigation.
AI should be played with 110% vs your 100%.

AI isn't a good offensive player.

Set option to challenging, AI will get more strength but be always stupid.

Play a human player!

1.08.07beta

I changed it to Impossible and started a new Campaign. At the end of the first week the german spearheads are orange/red on fuel but green on supplies.

Can someone spend 5 minutes and try the above? Thanks.

I seem to have major issues with my data files.

A german inf div for fuel/need is typically xx/0 or xx/1 when it should be around xx/40.

Looking through some of the other campaigns some Pz Divs start with 0 for supply and fuel.

I think I will do an uninstall/reinstall.

What have you changed in your modified campaign ?
I did a turnover to germans and they all seemed to receive lots of vehicles and fuel.

Please try to reproduce in a vanilla campaign.

Sorry for my late reply but have been trying to buy a house, no luck.

What I have done with the editor is a very good question, added more equipement in the pool, more vehicles etc. I may have clicked on a function that destroyed all the fuel, if there is such a function.

So far I have reinstalled and will try a couple of turns on a campaign that i never use.
