Is this not evidence towards always keeping humans in the line of command regarding weapons of any type. If this had been automated then things could have been much different.

I live about 20 or so miles as the crow flies from Damascus. I was just a kid then, but I remember an Air Force enlisted guy that lived down the street being injured in aftermath. At the time I had no idea it was as bad as it was, but I guess few civilians would have. It truly is scary stuff!
