from Yahoo News:

"Authorities seized a 45-ton Panther tank, a flak cannon and multiple other World War II-era military weapons in a raid on a 78-year-old collector's home in northern Germany, prosecutors said Friday...."

"... Neighbor Kristin Schroeder told the local Kieler Nachrichten newspaper that the man had even fired up the tank during the particularly bad winter of 1978-79 and helped plow others' snow"!!!

When you are not allowed to own a Panther and a 88mm AA there is no liberty
Would have loved to see him use that Panther to move snow though

Probably the most peaceful mission that tank ever had.

My wet dream: drive that thing and get involved (as a victim ) in an episode of road rage and then...

I guess truck drivers have to feel something similar. But I still prefer the tank.

Haha, so true.
Nah, we don't. We have too high a centre of gravity to go REALLY mad (we would tip over), but I have to agree there are a few cabs in Oslo that has survived simply due to me realizing that I would spend alot more hours at work if I were to do as I please

I missed this one

I take it they waited (the cops) until he ran out of gas: that thing has to swallow huge, ridiculous amounts of gas.

I like when he plowed it right through a parked Winnebago.

The Panther looks to be in great condition. A rare find.

I hope it is looked after somewhere and not scrapped, if the original owner is not allowed to keep it.

Cheers,
