Russia will reveal its new MBT, the T14 Armata on May 9th. The stats on this tank confirm that tanks will remain on the battlefield for quite some time into the future.

A nice show tank. But with 20 produced it looks like it will fall into the long line of Russian experiments in AFV design that are abandoned due to lack of money.

looks nice, and nice spec, add in another 2000 to 6000 then the west will be worried, mind you tanks are one things, crews & training are another thing altogether

When I see Russia producing them in large numbers and NOT selling them to client nations, then I can believe they might have something. Besides, tanks are only as good as the airpower that keeps them safe.

Nah... it was intended to "break down" in order to demonstrate how a tank recovery is done. The real embarrassment was the fact that the Tank Recovery Vehicle couldn't budge the new heavy MBT LOL Time for a crash development program for a new TRV!

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(

The actual tank doesn't look like the artists illustration of it. The impression was that the turret would resemble a the one on a Merkava(?).
