More good weather here today inspired another trip over to the house construction site. That means more pictures!
The roof is finished and all of the framing work, inside and out is finished. I didn't get a shot of the exterior with the roof on today. Instead I toured the interior. First up is a shot of the living room and breakfast area. You can see the fireplace (gas) framed in and the back door that will go out onto the screened porch.
Congrats on the new house. I must confess that I do not concur with your choice of architecture. It appears to be quite spartan. I'm very fond of my windows and shingled roof and just can't see doing without. But to each their own, I guess. Congrats!
Good to see you pop in, my Brother!
We are planning to have a few things with the house "touched up" before we move in.
Oh, you mean like insulation and sheet rock. ....GP
Something like that, yeah. Maybe some glass in the windows and a door.
Don't forget the train room. Very important to your sanity. ....GP
