Nope. No. Njetski. Not lost at all.

Just felt like hunting a TINP. They are becoming rare. Close to extinct. Although I am willing to settle for a SNP.

I do not get lost. I just take the scenic route a few times. Which is really fun when you take the back roads in the deep forest when European elk AKA moose are around.

Of course, I have looked south into big Canada land . . .

It is usually quite fun seeing an elk, or moose if you so prefer. I've encountered them quite a few times during the years. Although now it has been a while since last time. It has been scary a few times when I've been in a car, but the incident had actually passed before it got scary.

And once out in the wild, and that time I hadn't time to get scared either. I was walking across a clearcut area (not nearly as fine as the picture below shows) when a moose came running straight at me from behind. I didn't see it until my friend called out in alarm and I turned around and the moose was perhaps 10 yards from me. It looked startled at my friend and continued straight at me and I couldn't really move to the side, except perhaps making a dive. But I suppose that I made some startling sound because the elk, now 5 yards away, turned the head and looked at me. Stopped, looked and stood still for an eternity. Or perhaps 5 to 10 seconds. Then it turned 90 degrees to the side and ran on.

So if you haven't seen an elk in the wild I hope that some day you will have that experience. Or perhaps you prefer to hunt 'em? Their meat is quite good.

No. The pieces that wanted to leave Sweden has already done so. Including some pieces that didn't want to leave. Sometimes a few bits grumble aboy leaving but that is usually because they want something politically. Usually more money...

May have to explain what TINP is?

TINP = True INP - a INP without any 'filler' posts made. And there has been at least a few minutes since someone else made the last post on the previous page.

SNP = Stolen New Page - someone is makes the last post of the previous page with the intent of making a "INP" but you 'steal' it and make his post the second post of the page.

I knew someone who was driving a car at night when he ran into an American moose. The moose came into the windshield. It ruined his WHOLE night. I did go to his memorial service.

Yes, very good and very lean.

Ground moose meat makes for very tasty Pölsa. And now I am getting hungry.

Pickled beets is what they are called over here and they are delicious. But beets are high in oxylates which can lead to kidney stones, although pickled beets are not as bad. Give someone prone to kidney stones beets and a rhubarb dessert.

During moose rutting season the males get quite mad with their hormones and charge most anything - dogs, people, cars, trucks and sometimes a train. The train usually wins, but need to visits the dent and fender shop. Northern communities frequently warn their children to move away ASAP if they see a moose.

Encouraging children to run away? Why not just sell them for medical experiments instead?
