To follow up on my last post. I am playing the Desert Storm scenario on the USAF side. I am losing aircraft to running out of fuel that should not run out of fuel. Also, when I go from group view to unit view and then click on one aircraft (Falcon) in a group to check fuel status, then I get the attached error message and the game asks if I want to exit. I can continue to play the scenario, but I am getting mysterious crashes to no fuel from my F4-G wild weasel when they have plenty of fuel.

It would be convenient if you could select the tanker for a plane or group to use to refuel. I'll make a post asking for this feature.

I think I know why my Falcons had difficulty refueling. I was setting my tanker missions between two points and the tankers would move from 1 to the other. From now on, I'll make my tanker missions one reference point. Why the error message trying to look up one falcon in a group using the unit view, I have no idea. It worked with other types of aircraft.

Try using 4 reference points. Not sure how one would work but my sense is it would be a lot of circling.

You can drop four quickly using the cntrl right click define area.

Thanks!

4 ref points would replicate the box pattern normally flown by tankers.
