I'm looking for an opponent who would like to start "small" and then work our way up together to the 1943-45 Campaign.
I propose the following:
We pick a small or medium sized scenario and play as many turns as we feel need to in order to help each other learn a new system, sharing thoughts and tips along the way.
Neither of us seeks to exploit or "game" the system, and we try to play more or less as our historical counterparts would, given the situation, intelligence info, and point of view they had. (I don't mean that we limit ourselves to only doing things strictly as they historically occurred, just that we try to maintain a historical outlook.)
Once we're both agreed that we're ready, we move to the 43-45 Campaign and play "for real", keeping in mind that patches might force us to do a restart, etc.
I'm a fairly experienced player of WiTP-AE and WIE, but I think the new air system in WIW requires some practice in order to master it...I've already played the training scenarios, and I'd like to learn now with the ultimate opponent, another human.
I'm located in the Eastern USA timezone, and since I'm now retired, I can dedicate a fair amount of effort to this, along with a good turn exchange rate.
If anyone is interested in something like this, send me a PM or email, and we can discuss details, sides, and get started.
Thanks to all who give this a read!
EDIT: Now have 2 games going one as Axis, one as Allies, so I think I've reached the limit I can handle. Many thanks to all who expressed interest.
