Can this game do the air war in Vietnam or is that best left to something like the Tiller title Air War Vietnam?

Yes this game is great for it.

In addition to a modern DB we all also have a cold war db which should include most if not all aircraft, SAM systems and radar that took part in the conflict. Several Vietnam scenarios shipped with the game.

Thanks!

Mike

I used to play Harpoon when I was younger. Just out of curiosity are there any sound effects in this title? I dont mind but sometimes it helps. Most the You Tube stuff is really silent as they play

Yes, because even though most of the time the sound effects are helpful they are not exactly a highlight of the game.

Even though its the Korean war you can take a look at one of my videos since it does have the sound effects. Look for: "command: modern air naval operations - Battle of Chumonchin Chan"

mikmyk, it would be nice if it would be possible to adjust the volume of the effects since they are sometimes extremely loud.

I do find the "plane gets hit by rocket" ones comparatively loud but it is more a general thing. I like to watch Netflix via my second screen while I play and it would be nice to be able to adjust the volume of the game. I know I can do it via windows but ingame would be nicer. Its not a big deal though.

There are several scenarios onthis war already. The editor makes it easy to set up a lot of different air and sea situations.
