Oh yes it is Newbie Evening

Using latest build, 570.

Tutorial Scenario. I have 6 A7's on SEAD, they have just let loose a ripple of Shrikes and I want them to turn outbound before they hit the SA7's.

I have unassignd them from the strike mission, done the F3 thing to give them a course North but they are just barrelling in over the main concentration of people who are a bit annoyed with them.

Ive checked Doctrine etc and can see nothing that is making them carry on in a suicidal fashion.

Any ideas ?

TIA

Think I have it. It was Doctrine.
Auto Evasion was set to Yes. I set that to No and the group swung North.
Interesting though. Auto Evasion was taking them into Harms Way
Think I'll play with this, Im thinking that if you want to micromanage you will need to set this to off at the IP

You may also want Ctrl+E to disengage and drop all targets, in case they are still closing in for gun attack or whatever.
Another thing, right click the aircraft, make sure Ignore Plotted Course when Attacking is off.

Cheers Alex.
Yep both of those were off, I've replayed a save game a number of times and it was definitely the Doctrine setting.
Switched Auto-Evasion to off and they follow the plotted course straight away.
