Any consideration given to changing units' map icons to NATO icons?

I like seeing the vehicle silhouettes in the subunit viewer, but I would prefer something more realistic for the map.

Maybe add an option to view map units as NATO icons?

It is a possibility we can do this in the 2.1 system. We'll have to look at what is any database changes would need to be made and the logistics of two sources for icon data.

Please just make it an option though, I really like having the silhouettes.

We would have to change the ways units are displayed in the game because at present we use both silhouettes and NATO symbols. We would have to make changes to allow players to know when units are moving if we went to a totally silhouette based graphics display.

Plodder it would be an option. The default scheme is not changing. The old FPG had a way of doing a switch, but it had simplified sils. We have a bunch.
