Always love watching the Battlefield Series, wondering if I could buy certain one I want. Not sure where to find them or how much they sell for if they are on DvDs.

Here is a free Downloader (though it has a paid upgrade as an option)that I use to download favorite YouTube videos. I have a 10 gig data cap so I can't replay favorite videos, so I just download them and can enjoy them repeatedly. This also lets you download from a wide variety of other video sites as well.

Amazon sell the complete Series 1 and 2 (also 3 as well I think, but that was Vietnam),

Looks like later series (back to WWII) are in a different format - not 2 hours anymore and a different narrator. Amazon sell some episodes individually from these series.

I thought series 1 and 2 were really well done . I will defo watch the one posted above though.

I use to use that downloader, later on I found a better video capture software. Unfort, it doesn't have good quality video and usually does some skips during playback/record from youtube.

Infact I got battle 360, and burn them on dvds for my personal use.

I use to have VHS back then when first came out and lost them during moving. Of course I don't care for VHS anymore. I will check around when I save some money for Dvds, if there is any.

Started watching it but I think they got Calabria and Spartivento mixed up!

The battle the described in the opening sequence was Calabria NOT Spartivento - which took place in November iirc

It's quite a good series but they could pick up the pace a bit.

Cheers, Neilster

I really enjoyed the first two series - especially Midway and the Battle of Britain.

However, that mistake re Spartivento was just sloppy. They even pointed to where Spartivento took place (on the map)!

Right name, right place....er wrong time and wrong battle
