I'm wondering why this tank is in the game? I've never seen one, none to my knowledge are build or come in as replacement yet one unit, the Samoan Marine Bn, have them in their inventory?

Actually it isn't there, it's supposed to be there, but because it isn't it's pointless.

But it appears that a handful did make it into action in the DEI so why not include them? This is the type of detail that makes the game so rich and interesting.

So are many posts on this forum. In this case, the Samoan Marine bn TOE upgrades to include them. So, yeah...

Not CTL-6s.

Marmon Herrington was a US automotive manufacturer based in Indianapolis, Indiana. They made many light armored vehicles for the US and mostly for export in the inter war period. It was a major supplier of military grade commercial chassis during the early war period. It's components were the basis of virtually all Allied armored vehicles (improvised, or otherwise) in the early war period. It made export light tanks that one will see in the DEI. Some of its work will be seen in the suspension arrangement of the M2 ... M3 Lt Tank.

Plus it manufactured many of the light Armoured Cars used by the Commonwealth forces in the Western Desert.

There are 20 CTL-6 tanks in the starting pool. They become available in April 1942.

Thanks for the reply. Not in the scenario I'm playing, it's Oct 42 and I have none, they are not even listed in the troop pool. Now maybe it's an oversite on the designer of RA 6.6.

I've been playing stock scen1 since original release & as far as I can remember no CTL6's came in for the unit being asked about by OP so if an oversight, it's an old one

Upgrades on an island are likely to be slow, since there is only the one base to drawn replacements from. There has to be enough supply present to have any chance at all.
