No problem here, but I have UAC disabled + the game not installed into the protected folder c:\program files.

If it immediately crashes please navigate to your installation folder and start it directly, if it crashes again right-click on it and select "run as administrator".

if the auto updater fails, login to your matrix account and manually download the latest and install that, as it seems its a MS VC+ error, so a manual update is no problem

1.08 update from Update engine version: 3.7.0.0

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3735443&mpage=2&key=

please remember you cant auto download this as it's a beta update and is large and can be installed over last official update...

no replies might be because of WITW release and work on that i'm sorry to say....

if that still fails, uninstall your game and wipe the folder clean, and reinstall and add all again plus all updates and software it needs as per install instructions, worked for me

It would be up to Matrix to fix the updater, it's their program. I guess there must be some mismatch between the libraries found on your computer vs what the updater requires.

i found the same problem, problem who was fixed with a patch. Unfortunatly, it's not for our game : http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=3582134&mpage=1&key=

I don't understand why the Matrix support team don't give us any answer.

You can get latest version from the "members" tab on the menu bar of this forum's display. You'll need your serial number and then hunt a bit for the right tab to see update downloads. Good luck.

Thank you for your reply rrbill.

I know this procedure since i have few games registered on Matrix website. But the Matrix update soft is very pleasant to use.

Fortunatly, one hour ago i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and now the updater works fine.
