In my current game i got buggy pirate raids on some planets. Pirate raiders instantly outnumbered and rapidly lose troops but then final pirate trooper killed game log states planet was raided for money. Afterwards planet dont have any economic penalty for succesfull pirate raid - because it was defeat. For some reason game throws money to pirates for defeated raiders. Got this bug on 2 planets.

You did not completely stop the raid, they got away with some loot.

Pirate raid was destroyed to the last raider AND THEN log states i was raided. It always after last raider destroyed completely, not retreated. If raiders killed not so fast they just retreat without any loot but in this case i robbed by defeating raiders too quickly. Saw a real gem of raiding - lone pirate pod instantly killed and planet raided for money in 1 second time vs numerous planetary units. It is a bug and a nasty one. This is a main reason pirates so powerful - they got free raiding loot then defeated.
