Pirate raiders got +25% space control regardless of pirate faction. Any pirate raid benefit from any pirate ship orbiting the planet - even enemy pirate ships. After launching a raid all raiding ships destroyed by rival pirate gang but deployed troops receive +25% space control bonus until victorious pirate fleet not warped away.
Got screenshot but cant post because of forum 7 day rules.

Space Control bonuses during invasions can persist for a time even after ships are destroyed or leave, up to 10 seconds later.

Sometimes pirate raids can include multiple pirate factions attacking at the same time. In this case the first pirate raider troop to land on the planet is considered the invading faction for the purpose of bonuses.
