One of those who get 1/3 status in the preliminaries, will proceed to Round 4. The idea was that preliminary competition would give a chance to everybody to play at least 3 games. We should have a pretty good set of people starting Round 4. Since this is the World Cup, I'd rather keep it to its purpose of determening the player with best experience and luck. If anybody wants to start another championship like Junior World Cup etc., feel free to do so.

I know RobW just played and lost R3 but I don't have a record of his R2 game with BORO.

According to my list M4 Jess and Belisarius are the only ones left yet to finish R2. So in case they don't call in, I will play both of you guys, willy and Ironfist, for no credit to me, I'm still waiting for Jim Lindquist in our R3, he's having a hardware problem.

Since Jess is off to the south pacific, we're on a break in our game. I'll beat him soon enough. :)

Just a reminder to everybody with 1/3 status, one of you will be picked to continue onto R4. The choice will be done randomly.

Been there tons of times... If their "photograph charge"got a little less brutal (or at least if they have one for Russians instead of everyone stuck paying the foreigner price" I'll take some... havent been there in two years myself.

What's beer haze got to do with anything? I play some of my best games when drunk, it eliminates unnecessary caution :)

Waiting on RobW to return from Holiday. We are about a third of the way through our game. Said he would be back this coming Monday. Only getting about two or three turns in a week, so it will be another 4-6 weeks to finish.

I'm up for a round three match up if there is one available. Thanks
Boro:)

I have conceded my round 3 game against Cpt Shoe. He is going to be away for a while and I was losing badly anyway.

So that makes me 0/3. A learning experience ... :)

Hades,

your earlier post stated you have 2 losses and 1 win that makes you 1/3. One person out of players with 1/3 status will advance to Round 4. This person will drawn randomly.

ThomasBELL123, RobW
- disregard earlier post, just go ahead and finish R3 as you are setup right now.

Ironfist
I don't think there's anybody left for you. If you'd like I'll play you.
